Why Streamless exists.

The free streaming landscape is bigger than most people realize, and it changes constantly. FAST services like Tubi now carry 300,000+ titles. Pluto TV is about to absorb HBO content. Public broadcasters like BBC iPlayer, ARD, ZDF, NFB.ca, and PBS Kids offer some of the highest-quality content anywhere — for free. Library card streaming via Kanopy and Hoopla is criminally underused.

Streamless catalogs all of this in one place. Every entry is a legal, ad-supported, public, or library-funded service. We do not list piracy aggregators or unlicensed sites.

What we mean by "tier"

  • FAST — Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV. Tubi, Pluto, Roku Channel, Plex Free. Funded by ads.
  • Public broadcaster — Tax- or license-funded national TV. BBC iPlayer, ARD, France.tv. Usually ad-free; usually geo-locked.
  • Library — Kanopy, Hoopla. Free with a public library card. Best quality per dollar in all of streaming.
  • Free with account — Content gated behind a free signup. Prime Video Free, Globoplay Free.
